Last day with Luke for awhile

I mentioned awhile back that Luke and Charlotte will be spending some time in England.

Luke’s departure day is upon us.  He will fly out of Calgary on Monday evening, so he will be taking a bus from P.A. to Calgary tonight.

We’ll all be going out for Mother’s Day brunch today, and saying our good-byes.

And our family moves through another stage.

Wow! Just like that he’s on his way. Hope you guys had a nice day together. Safe travels to Luke.

Wonder if I’ll meet him? In a way I hope not, because we’re not on the itinerary and it would mean he’s needed emergency help. Hope you 2 are OK while he’s gone.

Toni: I’m sure that he will figure out the train connection at Heathrow just fine. Hopefully he won’t need to make a panicked call to you. However it’s comforting to his parents to know that help might be at hand.

  4. Toni says:

Well no call was forthcoming, so I assume he connected just fine.

No problems at all, at Heathrow Airport, at Paddington Station or Truro. He’s now at his Uncle Nigel and Auntie Kate’s place at Falmouth for a couple of days before proceeding to Scilly.
Thanks for the advice you emailed re train connections Toni.
